Andy Coppolateacher

Andy Coppola first discovered yoga’s benefits in 2000 while working as an artist in Orlando, FL. Yoga was a compliment to his other physical exercise and his challenging artwork; it also supported his changing needs for self care. After beginning to study the tradition of Krishnamacharya, He found this daily ritual greatly enhanced his sense of wellbeing, stability, and ease. While pursuing his graduate studies in sculpture, Andy completed a 200hour teacher training program in New York that focused on yoga’s physical capacity. Setting the teaching of yoga aside, he pursued the development of his personal practice, and began to teach art and sculpture throughout the New York area. Andy returned to the tradition of Krishnamacharya in 2011, and developed an interest in understanding yoga’s holistic application in research. This interest, along with his developed teaching and coaching sensibility, led him to earn a 300hour teaching certification in 2015, in Nashville, TN. Andy brings a light heart, a stable and clear presence, and compassionate ear to his teaching and his life. He continues to study with his teacher, Chase Bossart.
